Gold & Scavengers
Your Titan doesn't carry gold. Gold Scavengers do.
Ways to earn gold
- Passive income from your citizens. See Citizens & Income.
- Big Barns: 10 gold every 5 seconds.
- Gold caches out on the map, collected by Gold Scavengers.
- The ruins of an eliminated city: 10,000 gold.
Gold Scavengers
- Build a Gold Scavenger Station (130 gold).
- Select it in City View and click the Gold Scavenger portrait to train one (20 gold). You can have up to 3.
- Select a scavenger and
a gold cache, or its map marker, to collect it. Each scavenger carries up to 1,000 gold. - your own city's gold pile to deposit the gold.
Couriers, not fightersScavengers only move when you order them. Discovered gold glows through the fog. Press X to hold a scavenger in place.
Gifts
A loaded scavenger can also gift its gold: a rival's gold pile, or their Titan in its home city. Gifts build trust between cities.
